What you can ask
Ask in plain language
Your assistant works with the same assessments, candidates and results you see in MyCulture.ai. Each of these requests works today.
Build assessments
- “Create a draft assessment for a Customer Success Manager based on our Sales Manager assessment.”
- “Review my Customer Success Manager draft with me, then publish it.”
Invite candidates
- “Invite [email protected] to the Sales Manager assessment and send her the email.”
- “Show me the completed candidates for the Sales Manager assessment.”
Review results
- “Compare Jane and Alex's assessment evidence. Highlight the differences without recommending who to hire.”
- “Summarize the strongest patterns and any important gaps across the completed results for this assessment.”
Setup
Connected in about two minutes
A company owner or admin sets up the connection. No code and no API keys.
Open the AI Connector
In MyCulture.ai, go to My Account, then AI Connector, and choose your assistant.
Paste the setup message
Copy the message MyCulture writes for you into your assistant. It opens MyCulture.ai so you can sign in, pick the company and approve permissions.
Ask your first question
Start with a request like "Show me the completed candidates for the Sales Manager assessment."
Server URL
https://api.myculture.ai/mcpWorks with
Claude
Add a custom connector named "MyCulture Assessments" with the server URL. In Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user myculture https://api.myculture.ai/mcpChatGPT
On the web, open Settings, then Apps, and create a custom app with the server URL. Some workspaces need an admin to allow custom apps first.
Codex
Add a remote MCP server named "myculture". From the Codex CLI:
codex mcp add myculture --url https://api.myculture.ai/mcpOther MCP clients
Any client that supports remote Streamable HTTP MCP servers and OAuth 2.1 with PKCE.

Control and candidate privacy
What your assistant can and can't do
You approve every change
Every write shows you a preview first. New assessments stay drafts until you approve publishing, and only published assessments can be sent to candidates.
No hiring recommendations
Comparisons and summaries describe the evidence and what is missing. They never rank, recommend or reject a candidate.
Limited candidate data
Email addresses are masked in search results. Results exclude raw answers, prompts and transcripts. Anything your assistant receives is covered by your agreement with its provider, such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
One company, revocable at any time
Each connection is tied to one company and the permissions you approved. Access tokens last one hour, and disconnecting in My Account ends access immediately.
What we log
We log which tool ran, when and whether it succeeded. We do not store your prompts, candidate answers or result bodies.
FAQ
AI Connector questions
Can I use MyCulture.ai from ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. The AI Connector is a remote MCP server at api.myculture.ai/mcp. Claude, ChatGPT and Codex can connect to it, as can any other MCP client that supports OAuth.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use tools from other apps. The AI Connector is the MCP server for MyCulture.ai, so a connected assistant can work with your assessments directly.
Which plans include the AI Connector?
All of them, including the Free plan with 5 assessments.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
No. A company owner or admin copies a setup message from My Account into their assistant and approves access in the browser. It usually takes about two minutes.
Can the assistant publish assessments or invite candidates on its own?
No. Every change shows a preview and needs your confirmation. Publishing an assessment is a separate approval step.
Will the assistant tell me who to hire?
No. The connector returns descriptive evidence, such as differences between candidates and gaps in the data. Hiring decisions stay with your team.
What candidate data does my assistant see?
Only the results you ask for, within the permissions you approved. Email addresses are masked in search, and results leave out raw answers, prompts and transcripts.
How is this different from the API?
The API is for developers building integrations in code, and it is on the Business Plus plan. The AI Connector handles the same tasks, plus drafting and publishing assessments, through conversation in your assistant.
How do I disconnect an assistant?
Open My Account, then AI Connector, and revoke the connection. Its access ends right away.
Try it with your next role
Create a free account, connect your assistant and ask it to draft your first assessment. Five assessments are free and no credit card is required.
